We're at the start of the start 🎬

Hi, Reader —

I just got back from a quick trip to LA for a special event – an all-day Kundalini deep dive devoted to meditation, breath, focus, and being fully with yourself. It was intense and expansive! The kind of practice that clears out a lot of mental noise and leaves you feeling clear, awake, and very alive!

I’m back in Montreal and still vibrating, just in time for this upcoming Aries New Moon 🌒

→ Join me Thursday evening at 18h30 EDT

Aries opens the astrological year, and this new moon carries that same energy of a true beginning. It brings the fire of spring, the urge to move. The impulse to begin! There’s momentum here, and invitation: to trust what feels alive and listen for what’s calling you forward. This is a time to give your energy to what truly wants to grow.

There’s something clarifying about this moon, too. It asks us to notice where our energy is going and to choose more carefully what we say yes to. What matters now? What lights you up? What kind of life are you building with your attention, your care, your life force? This is a beautiful moon for brave beginnings, clear intentions, and ultimately, coming back to yourself ✨

On Thursday at 18h30 EDT, we’ll gather for a 60-minute new moon practice with meditation and journaling. As always, I send a replay your way – for anyone who registered. The new moon itself arrives in the sky on Friday morning, Montreal time, so there will be plenty of time to return to the practice over the weekend and beyond, while the moon is still just a sliver in the sky.

My event sign-ups are now through the Luma website or app (unless you’re already part my membership!)

Join me for this one – come ride this wave of inspiration and fire with me.

Lots of love,
Sara

🙏 PPS: Looking for your own deeper dive? My own Kundalini immersion begins next month at Morpho Bleu, and the early bird price is still available!

🌝🌚 PPS: This is my first new moon practice with a ticket price. In case you missed it, here’s a bit of the why: I think of the new and full moons as a pair – a call and response, a complete cycle. In a yoga class, for example, we might move through a shape on the right side and then the left; one belongs with the other. In the same spirit, I want you to have access to the whole experience. Membership is the easiest way to join me in that rhythm, though you can still sign up à la carte if that feels like the better fit. And there will also still be free practices throughout the year too, including Let’s Meditate – the new moon just lives in a different place now.

Hi, Reader — Last weekend’s Mother’s Day practice with Kimiko was so beautiful: a room full of amazing women, and holding space for the mothers within us and around us. Through the lens of Kundalini yoga, Mother’s Day can open into something wider than one role or one relationship. It becomes an honouring of the mothering current itself – the part of us that nourishes, protects, creates, listens, steadies, and holds life as it changes. Some of us mother children. Some of us mother through...

Hi, Reader — Early May, and the city is literally in bloom! I love it, and not just because it’s also my name!! 🌸🌸 I love seeing the cherry blossom trees in NDG – they are so iconic for this time of year. And Mother’s Day is coming up this weekend, too. I have to admit, I’m a bit funny about Mother’s Day. I LOVE all the holidays. Going wild with decorations is my jam, the fun and whimsy of it all just lights me up. And with Mother’s Day, there is also something about the Hallmark aspect that...

Hi, Reader — Here we are in the last week of April! We’ve had beautiful sunshine, I got to share a wonderfully intimate Imprint gathering on Saturday morning (after a fun and slightly rowdy Katonah session before!), the Habs are hanging in there, I’m feeling much better – and in my little corner of the world, things feel very alive right now. I’ve said it before: I love this time of year! Renewal, hope, fresh inspiration. Things are blooming, and there’s real desire in the air – a forward...
