This Scorpio new moon is a little uncomfortable 🦂

Hi, Reader —

It’s been a beautiful first week of November and a lovely start to my Rest + Digest program, too! I’m so thrilled to be doing this reset with so many of you.

And now, the moon is preparing for her own reset in the sky – the Scorpio New Moon arrives on Monday, inviting us to look ahead and set our intentions for this next cycle. We gather in advance, to take full advantage of the moment.

Join me this Thursday evening at 18h30 for our monthly New Moon practice, live on Zoom or with the recording. On New Moons, we meditate, breathe and journal it out, always with a rad playlist.

The Scorpio New Moon invites us to look beneath the surface and explore what we may have been avoiding. Arriving in these darker days of autumn, this moon brings powerful themes of transformation, truth and release. Maybe you’ve noticed an old pattern showing up again, a fear you thought you’d worked through, or something you’ve been reluctant to admit to yourself. Scorpio asks us to be willing to look at these things, even when they’re uncomfortable. There’s an opportunity here to understand what’s been holding us back, and what we’re ready to let go of.

A central theme of this moon is finding safety and trust within ourselves. So much of what we do can be driven by fear – the need for approval, the desire to control outcomes, or holding on to something simply because it’s familiar. This is where our daily practice becomes so important. Through breath, meditation, movement and caring for our bodies, we create space to slow down and notice what’s really happening within us. As we’ve been exploring through Rest & Digest, even small shifts to our daily rhythms can help us become more aware of what we need. And with that awareness comes the possibility of responding differently to old patterns, rather than continuing to repeat them.

And then there’s the question of desire. What is it that you really want? As Venus retrograde comes to a close, Astro Auntie has been reminding us through her Inner Source program to look at what’s underneath our desires. What are we really longing for? Maybe it’s something you’ve been afraid to ask for, or even admit to yourself. This New Moon invites you to name those desires and give them room to grow. Just as nature turns inward for winter, we can allow our own intentions to take root slowly, without needing to know exactly how everything will unfold. Some of the most meaningful changes begin long before we can see them.

Give yourself the time and space to let something new begin.

And since Mercury is also still retrograde, let’s not take chances – make sure you’re registered and know where to find that Zoom link!

Will I see you Thursday?

Lots of love,
Sara

We’ve officially begun Rest & Digest, and there’s still time to hop in and join me for our five days together! We had our first Kundalini practice this morning, and if you’ve been thinking about joining us, don’t worry about missing the start. The recording will be waiting for you in the membership hub. And if you...

Hey there, Reader — A sunny start to October here in Montreal! Did September feel like a blur to you? It sure did for me, and I can also feel myself settling into autumn. Libra season began a few weeks ago, and its New Moon arrives at just the right time for us to take a beat after such a busy month, set intentions and look inward a little deeper. If you were at the Equinox classes at Morpho Bleu, you heard Astro Auntie, Sarah L'hrar, say that Libra marks the shift in the astrological...

Hi, Reader — Happy equinox! 🍂 I hope some of you were able to join us at Morpho Bleu for our fall market and classes. What a beautiful, full few days. These transitional moments are always packed with energy, and it felt like such a good way to channel some of it together. Fall always brings a little reflection and nostalgia with it, after the presence and spontaneity of summer. And here we are at the start of the season, with a bite in the morning air and the leaves just beginning to turn....
