A Full Moon for what’s stirring beneath 🌝

Hi, Reader —

More than a week since I’ve returned from Costa Rica, and I’m still in that in-between space. My body is home, but something inside is still on the beach. Time in a sacred container, with beautiful people, long conversations, and space away from routine loosens everything. I’m not sure I came back with clear answers; I definitely feel that something has shifted.

January carries a similar quality. The year has begun, and it’s still early. We’re not meant to see very far yet. This moment in the calendar sits at a quiet turning point – a cross-quarter moment. In Celtic traditions, this was marked as Imbolc, a moment when life begins to stir beneath the surface. In Judaism, Tu B’Shvat honours the birth of the trees, sap starting to rise even though winter is in deep freeze. Different language – and similar recognition that growth is already underway, even if nothing looks different yet.

It’s a moment that invites trust.

The Full Moon in Leo this week meets us right here. Leo brings us into the heart – into what feels true, what’s asking for attention, what wants to be acknowledged before it takes form. There’s a warmth to this moon, and also a kind of courage, especially around allowing yourself to notice what already matters to you.

The heart tends to speak through feeling rather than plans. Through pull and resistance. Through a sense of what’s drawing closer and what’s beginning to fall away. This Full Moon offers space to sit with that inner knowing and let it be present, even if it hasn’t organized itself into clarity yet.

We’ll gather online this Thursday at 18h30 for a Lunar Magic movement practice to work with this energy together – time to slow down, to feel, and to stay with what’s beginning to unfold.

This moon invites you to take your own inner knowing seriously. To be honest with what’s alive in you, and to let that matter, even if it’s still tender or in process.

For those of you here in Montreal, I’m also offering a special in-person session of The Imprint on Saturday, January 31 at 10h30 at Morpho Bleu. This gathering is intentionally placed at this cross-quarter time, as a way of marking what’s taking root under the surface. It’s a chance to come together, listen inwardly, and honour growth that’s still finding its shape.

You’re invited whether or not you joined The Imprint in December! When you register, you’ll also receive access to the Imprint recordings, so you can return to the practices in your own time.

It will be an intimate morning – space to be in community, without needing to rush anything along.

Join me at Morpho Bleu on Saturday

Whether you join me online, in person, or practice with the full moon replay on your own time, this part of the calendar asks for attention more than answers – a willingness to notice what you’re choosing to mark, even if it only makes sense to you right now (365 buttons?).

I’m really looking forward to practicing with you! Feels like it’s been a while.

See you Thursday, I hope!
Sara

PS If you already joined The Imprint in December, you’ll be receiving a promo code to register for this in-person class free! If you have any trouble, reach out to Dana at team@saragallagherbloom.com, and she’ll help you get signed in.

PPS That inner trust that’s beginning to seed now? This is also the spark of your heart fire. It has time to grow. By the time we arrive in June, that fire will be ready to be fully lived and expressed – just in time for the Heart Fire retreat with myself and Kimiko, June 5–7.

Hi, Reader — I’m writing to you from Costa Rica, where I’m currently holding The Portal Retreat with Astro Auntie. We’re across the world from home, but our phones already know the wifi password. Even from here, routine is important – my days are shaped by practice and presence. And I still make time for making Lunar Magic. The rhythm of nature stays with me wherever I am. This week brings us the first new moon Lunar Magic of 2026. While we began the year together on January 1 with a full...

Hi, Reader — You’ve heard me mention that 2026 is a Year of 10. Here’s what I mean by that, and why I find it useful – and kind of fun! – to examine the year this way, as we stand at its doorway, and as my annual “Year of” workshop happens tomorrow evening! This concept comes from numerology, a symbolic way of working with time that treats years as part of a repeating cycle or spiral, rather than a straight line. (Need more scroll holeshere? Kabbalah, kundalini, and astrology all have...

Hi, Reader — How has your winter break been treating you? If you get a break, that is! I hope you’re finding some moments to yourself. This time of year is meant to slow us down – though when does anything ever move in only one direction? In my world lately, it’s been a mix of busy and spacious: family commitments, popping into the studio, getting ready for my upcoming trip, alongside long walks, quieter evenings, and smaller gatherings. A blend that feels pretty true to how life actually...
