Before summer carries you away ๐ŸŒž๐Ÿ”ฅ

Hi, Reader โ€”

Summer always seems to arrive with a hundred invitations. Iโ€™m already feeling this one! How about you?

Longer evenings and impromptu meet-ups. Travel plans โ€“ mine start soon! Family visits and dinners outside. The need to be in nature, near water, under trees, and with people you love. The sudden desire to do all the things, all at once because the season feels so precious and so short.

I love that about this season!

And I also know how quickly it can become a time where we lose the practices that keep us grounded and connected to ourselves. It just happens ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ

We say yes to beautiful things, we get pulled outward and sideways. The beauty of summer carries us! And somewhere inside all of that, the rituals that steady us can sometimes start to slip away. How do we find our centre within so much excitement?

โ€‹โ†’ This is the purpose of The Imprint for summer โ€“ and we begin Monday!

For five mornings, from 8 to 12 June, weโ€™ll gather live on Zoom at 06h00 EDT for meditation designed to help you begin the season with intention.

The Imprint is meditation, simplified.

Each morning, weโ€™ll work with our breath along with mantra and mudra (and music, too!), to awaken your energy and give your mind somewhere to settle. A bonus โ€“ if youโ€™d like to begin in the body first, Iโ€™m once again offering a short movement warm-up at 05h45 before we meditate together at 6h

And yes, there are recordings, because I know that is early for some of us.

Summer is fiery. It opens the heart. It brings joy, desire, creativity, expression, and connection. This practice gives that fire somewhere contained to burn. It helps us stay close to the pulse of the season without getting lost in its swirl.

Besides, online practice is also so well suited to summer!

Take it with you on a trip! Get it in early while the morning still feels a bit brisk and before the day starts making its own plans for you. Or come back to the recording later, in the cool of evening.

Five days, a steady container, and a place to begin the season on purpose. The Imprint: Summer includes:

  • live meditation for five days on Zoom at 06h00, starting 8 June
  • optional movement warm-up at 05h45
  • our June new moon in Gemini practice as another little bonus
  • on-demand recordings of all practices available through 14 June
  • the option to join me for the entire season and take the practice with you all summer long, as your own personal landing pad

โ€‹โ†’ Join me for the five-day event, or stay with me longer, inside the membership!โ€‹

Before summer carries you away, letโ€™s choose a more intentional path.

I hope to see you next week!

Big, big fiery love,
โ€‹Sara

Hi, Reader โ€” Iโ€™m back from Lac Brome, and landing here โ€“ for just a minute โ€“ before leaving for France with Kimiko! Thatโ€™s why I offered The Imprint a week early this season, rather than trying to battle time zones and come on live with you next week. And as always, the timing feels perfect in its own way. This summerโ€™s Imprint shares some beautiful themes with the upcoming Gemini new moon. Inside The Imprint, we are working with a meditation I affectionately call the Chicken Dance ๐Ÿ” โ€“ ahaha...

Hi, Reader โ€” I know. Itโ€™s early. If you saw 6am and immediately thought, โ€œSara, no!โ€ โ€“ I really do understand! Mind you, Iโ€™m just headed back from Lac Brome โ€“ an amazing weekend with a group of beautiful women โ€“ and we practiced early Saturday and Sunday. It was eased along by the feeling of community, and the wonderful early light we have this time of year. (Not to mention the fairy tale setting in an ancient forest!) Iโ€™ve continued to offer a live morning practice for years because thereโ€™s...

Hi, Reader โ€” Iโ€™m in NYC still, and I love it so much. This city is so full of life. Itโ€™s a wonderful place to be this time of year, too โ€“ late spring, right before everything tips into summer. Iโ€™m so happy Montreal is feeling a bit of it as well, even with those few cooler days sneaking in. The flowers are out, evenings are brighter, the city is in bloom! Spring gives us that spark. And summer? It brings the fire! The desire to play outside all day โ€“ and evening! โ€“ to say yes to invitations,...
