It's Virgo season, babe! 📝

Hi, Reader —

Happy Virgo season! It’s my Sun sign, so I love this time of year!!

Virgo is methodical and pragmatic, and I already feel its influence over me. I’ve been getting the details in order for my fall travel, and looking ahead to 2027, organizing what’s to come and settling back into studio life. Maybe you saw my retreats email! Virgo in action.

This weekend has been so fun – did you come say hi at the Imagine Monkland festival in NDG? What true joy to connect with people and see so many familiar faces!! Everyone is enjoying this late summer moment – and gearing up for September!

There’s something about the shift that happens this time of year – it naturally brings us back into rhythm. A little more routine, and a little more attention to what needs tending, as we return to real life.

And this week, we come back to our Lunar Magic practice after a natural pause last week. This time around, the Moon falls right on our practice night, resetting us into our bi-weekly rhythm.

Thursday, we meet under the Pisces Full Moon – I hope you’ll join!

This moon is also a lunar eclipse, and it brings us to the end of a much longer astrological arc. Since the autumn of 2024, the eclipses have been moving through Pisces and Virgo, teaching us about the relationship between surrender and structure, intuition and discernment, the dream and the daily practices that give it somewhere to live. That larger story is already beginning to shift into a new chapter, and still we have this one final eclipse in Pisces – almost like a last moment at the threshold before a door closes.

Think about who you were two years ago, what you were moving through, what you were learning to trust. Some growth happens so gradually that we only recognize it when we turn around and see how differently we are standing.

And of course, watery Pisces knows something about letting things move. This is the sign of intuition, imagination, feeling and surrender – the part of us that senses what is happening beneath the surface, sometimes long before we can explain it. Across the sky, the Sun is in earthy Virgo, bringing us back into the body and into the practical reality of our lives. Virgo asks us to tend what matters, to create practices that support us, to give shape to what Pisces can feel.

We’ve been working with this conversation for two years now: where can I soften my grip, and where is some loving structure needed? Where can I trust what I know, and how do I honour that knowing in the way I actually live?

As eclipses often do, this one can also bring something back around for a final look. An old feeling, an old story, even a pattern you thought you had already worked through can surface again, and perhaps the invitation is simply to meet it as the person you are now.

Sometimes completion comes because we finally see the story differently, and sometimes we simply recognize that we no longer need to carry it.

This is the deeper work of integration: allowing what we have learned to move from something we are actively working on into something we know in our bones.

The practice becomes remembering.

We gather what is worth carrying forward, honour what has brought us here, and make space for the next chapter to begin.

I’ve created something to support you with exactly that – download my free Integration Guide. I created it for the weeks following Lion’s Gate, carrying us all the way through to the equinox next month (and The Imprint) – so there is still plenty of time to work with these prompts and practices. Use it to reflect on what has shifted, notice what you want to hold onto, and let your practices become a way of remembering what you already know.

And perhaps that’s where Virgo season meets this Pisces Moon so beautifully.

Virgo asks: What will you tend?

Pisces asks: What can you release?

Come practice with me Thursday at 18h30 EDT. We’ll roll out our mats, move, breathe, feel into this powerful Full Moon and eclipse, and make space for whatever is ready to move through.

→ Join me for Lunar Magic for the Pisces full moon

Big lunar love,
Sara

PS: If you came along for Lion’s Gate, this is your last week to access those recordings – unless you’re a member, of course! Make sure you log into the membership hub (or get help from Dana), soak in the practices you need, and download the guides before access closes. They’re practical, useful, and designed to keep supporting you well beyond the day itself.

Hey there, Reader — I’ve got that late summer feeling – how ’bout you? Can I even put my finger on what it is? Camp is over for Kobe, but school hasn’t started yet. It’s the in-between of the in-between. Summer has always felt like a pattern interruptor to me, when our usual routines take a backseat and the days stretch differently. And yet, in this mid-August moment, it’s the everyday that feels especially sacred – a day by the lake, simple pleasures, eating something perfectly in season. My...

Hi, Reader — August is cottage time for me! My family’s annual bubble. A slower time by the lake, with bonfires, Ry, Kobe and Liam, and neighbours – and the particular rhythm that only late summer drums. No wonder it’s an entire separate season in Traditional Chinese Medicine! (I’m also headed to New York for a very quick weekend trip, which I’m really looking forward to!) For me, though, August has always been a month for leaning into family before September begins and everything goes back...

Hi, Reader — It feels good to be home in July! Back in regular rhythms, practices and teachings. Back in the studio and the everyday life that holds me. As you may know if you’ve been around these parts a while, I’ve been paying closer attention to my summer energy in recent years, and really taking care not to burn myself out. July can carry so much action and passion, and I can feel how much my body has been asking for rest. Especially after travel! So I’ve been returning to The Imprint...
