If you’re feeling all the feels 🌸🌝

Hi there, Reader —

Spring in Montreal has announced herself — perhaps in your city too. The magnolia and cherry buds are popping out and saying hello on my daily walks through my neighbourhood of NDG with Bodhi, or getting Kobe to school.

And that’s what this Taurus season is all about: our “fixed” nature — hard to get more springy than these blossoms ready to burst open. On these walks, I feel so much more sacred stillness and space to just be. In a world so focused on optimization and over-functioning, Taurus offers us that luxury of peace and stillness. At least for a while.

Like those blooms, this month’s full moon is getting ready to reach it’s fullest — appropriately called a flower moon! When the sun is in Taurus, the full moon is always in Scorpio, and these are both fixed signs, meaning that they fully embody the essence of their respective seasons: spring and fall. Taurus is ruled by Venus, planet of love, while Scorpio is co-ruled by Mars and Pluto, the planets of passion and rebirth.

From about now through May 16, you may feel called by an incredible wave of energy to dive deep into our inner, emotional world. This full moon guides us to connect to our inner alchemist. We have the ability to shift our energy, transmute our emotions, and turn our experience into wisdom. Watery Scorpio creates such an optimal environment to explore what lies beneath the surface. Embrace those feelings fully and experience your emotions without judgment.

My full moon practice happens — as always — on a Wednesday evening, this May 7 at 19h00 EDT. It’s true, it’s a bit early as the moon will be at its fullest on Sunday or even Monday evening, the 11th or 12th. I want to give you the advance preparation for this powerful energetic wave that starts this week (with the “waxing gibbous” moon phase) — and intensifies through Monday.

Let’s create space for anything that comes up, as Scorpio can be so intense as to bring nearly everything into focus. During this moon, we cannot hide from ourselves or others. Feel free to practice live or with the recording closer to the moon's peak in the sky — or both!

The full moon’s powerful energy supports deep energetic alignment. The practices in our Lunar Magic class help you harness the moon’s transformative power, process intense emotions, and ground yourself for the month.

Let’s practice together and prepare to ride this wave!

Big love,
Sara

PS: Remember — every new moon, the start of the lunar cycle, is an accessible free hour-long practice of meditation and mantra, with journaling and some sharing. Every full moon (like this one!) we take time for a longer 90 minute practice, workshop-style and priced accordingly. Can’t make this month? You can still sign up and access the recording — or wait for the new moon to come around again on May 21!

Hi, Reader — I just landed home earlier this week from vibrant, alive London – a quickie trip to visit a dear friend and take part in a workshop that’s been calling my whole being forward. I left right after our Cancer New Moon meditation, which felt like such a potent doorway into this season. Summer is a fire season — full, fast, expressive. This year, I’m choosing to meet it differently. Slower. More internal. A little more breath between things. So if you’re craving more depth and less...

Hi, Reader — Happy solstice! It’s so bright at night, isn’t it wonderous? For my Montreal neighbours: did you make it to Morpho Bleu on Saturday for our solstice celebrations? What a day of discoveries and deep practice, from Nadine’s Quantum Flow, to a powerful sound experience with Sarah Surrenders, to our much-anticipated seasonal forecast with Astro Auntie. Even despite my still-raspy voice (ugghh, summer colds: mine was brought on by exhaustion after such a busy few weeks), I was so...

Are you like me, Reader — I do this aaallll the time, I don’t make up my mind to join a class or course until the very last second — or sometimes even after a program has begun! I know that I’ll get the recording, and catch up quickly. I have no idea what it is that makes me hesitate... If you were thinking: Ahhh, another program I’m not sure I’ll complete… Be gentler to yourself! If you do hop in this week, my summer Imprint practice is short and sweet — a very efficient and manageable...
