Lunar reset, Cancer edition (bring tissues? 😭)

Hi, Reader —

Happy solstice! It’s so bright at night, isn’t it wonderous?

For my Montreal neighbours: did you make it to Morpho Bleu on Saturday for our solstice celebrations? What a day of discoveries and deep practice, from Nadine’s Quantum Flow, to a powerful sound experience with Sarah Surrenders, to our much-anticipated seasonal forecast with Astro Auntie. Even despite my still-raspy voice (ugghh, summer colds: mine was brought on by exhaustion after such a busy few weeks), I was so excited to soak it all in.

The Imprint for summer also began last week, and even though our live sessions are over, you can still join on-demand. The recordings are here for you all summer long. And it’s an important reminder, as Astro Auntie tells us, “there is no air in summer!” That’s literal — this heat wave that’s coming to the east coast will be stifling — but also true metaphorically. No air signs: Cancer is water, Leo is fire, Virgo earth. The air, we have to bring it ourselves. Breath and meditation are so important, I encourage you to not miss this Imprint — keep meditating and breathing all season long.

To kick off Cancer season, it’s more Lunar Magic this week: the actual moon arrives on Wednesday but we’ll meet just ahead of it, on Tuesday, June 24 at 19h00 EDT, live on Zoom.

→ Join me at 19h00 Tuesday

We’ve reached the halfway point of the year, the seasonal apogee. From here we can review our rise and consider our descent. Which seeds are you dreaming into existence for the winter solstice? Or just for the seemingly short few weeks of summer ahead?

Cancer season brings a deep exhale. After a high-energy spring — the push of Aries, the growth of Taurus, the bloom of Gemini — we’ve reached the top of the seasonal mountain. Strawberries, at last! And now, the invitation is to soften. Cancer’s medicine is tenderness, intuition, rest. It asks us to turn toward the self, to feel what we’ve avoided, and to allow ourselves to be held — by our practices, by each other, by the knowing that it’s okay to be sensitive. It’s natural to act in the name of love.

This New Moon, renewing in her home sign of Cancer, offers a return to our own home frequency — the inner place where we feel calm, safe, true. To get there, we have to feel. Feel the fullness of what’s here, even the messy bits. That’s the real magic of this moon: it’s not about performance, but presence.

🌑 Join me for a free one-hour practice of meditation, breath, and journaling — a quiet, potent container to meet this moment.

Remember — every new moon, the start of the cycle, is a free hour-long gathering of meditation, mantra, journaling and sharing. Every full moon (the next one is in July!) we take time for a longer 90-minute workshop-style practice, with more movement and breath work, and priced accordingly. It’s one of my favourite rhythms of the month — the gentle seed at new moon, the big crescendo at full.

Get ready to feel it all...

Big love —
Sara

Hi, Reader — I just landed home earlier this week from vibrant, alive London – a quickie trip to visit a dear friend and take part in a workshop that’s been calling my whole being forward. I left right after our Cancer New Moon meditation, which felt like such a potent doorway into this season. Summer is a fire season — full, fast, expressive. This year, I’m choosing to meet it differently. Slower. More internal. A little more breath between things. So if you’re craving more depth and less...

Are you like me, Reader — I do this aaallll the time, I don’t make up my mind to join a class or course until the very last second — or sometimes even after a program has begun! I know that I’ll get the recording, and catch up quickly. I have no idea what it is that makes me hesitate... If you were thinking: Ahhh, another program I’m not sure I’ll complete… Be gentler to yourself! If you do hop in this week, my summer Imprint practice is short and sweet — a very efficient and manageable...

Hi, Reader — I just spent last weekend at Lac Brome, and what a beautiful reminder that we’re nearing the height of the season — when the days stretch long and everything feels more alive. I’ve carried that feeling home with me, and it’s stirring my excitement for what’s to come. I’ve also been deep in preparation for The Imprint: Summer, a 5-day morning practice to help you meet this moment — not with overwhelm, but with clarity and calm. This time of year is bright, bold, and full of...
