Pause before you plunge into 2026

Hi, Reader —

How has your winter break been treating you? If you get a break, that is! I hope you’re finding some moments to yourself.

This time of year is meant to slow us down – though when does anything ever move in only one direction? In my world lately, it’s been a mix of busy and spacious: family commitments, popping into the studio, getting ready for my upcoming trip, alongside long walks, quieter evenings, and smaller gatherings. A blend that feels pretty true to how life actually unfolds.

Ryan is on the mend, though it’s a long process. It’s brought a clear reminder that slowing down isn’t always about rest – sometimes it’s about paying attention, adjusting course, and not pushing ahead purely out of habit.

That’s where recalibration comes in...

Recalibration means responding intelligently – especially when life keeps speeding up. Before moving forward, it often helps to pause long enough to feel where we actually are. When things settle, it becomes easier to tell what matters, what doesn’t, and where your energy wants to go next. We can create a bit of space to take in what we just lived and let it inform what comes next. This moment isn’t asking for action yet – it’s about getting your bearings before the next step.

If you’re feeling that pull to pause and reset, here are two opportunities to recalibrate with me as we begin the year:

Lunar Magic is here ✨🌝

On New Year’s Day at 2pm, I’m offering a Lunar Magic Full Moon practice. This is a grounding practice designed to help you land and orient yourself as the year opens. If you can’t join live, you’ll have access to the replay until the new moon, and can practice in your own time. This Cancer full moon itself peaks January 2/3, and its influence stretches across several days, so there’s lots of room to meet this moment when it works for you.

It’s the Year of... 10! ✨📆

I’m also offering my annual Year of practice on Monday, January 5 at 6:30pm. This is a 2h reflective session that looks at the year ahead through the lens of numerology and intention-setting. You can join live or work with the replay for 30 days when you’re ready – I recommend setting aside a few uninterrupted hours for this one, as it’s meaningful, integrative work.

Both practices are available as stand-alone offerings, or you can choose to join both of them with three months of membership access, which gives you entry into my online library of movement, meditation, breathwork and seasonal practices throughout this wintertime. My new online home is finally here, and it’s been so fun to welcome my first members!!

If you’re craving a moment to pause, reset, and practice alongside others as the year begins, I’d love to have you join me, in whatever way feels most aligned.

With so much love on this brink of the calendar change! Here’s to a wonderful 2026 ahead – Happy New Year!

Hi, Reader — I’m writing to you from Costa Rica, where I’m currently holding The Portal Retreat with Astro Auntie. We’re across the world from home, but our phones already know the wifi password. Even from here, routine is important – my days are shaped by practice and presence. And I still make time for making Lunar Magic. The rhythm of nature stays with me wherever I am. This week brings us the first new moon Lunar Magic of 2026. While we began the year together on January 1 with a full...

Hi, Reader — You’ve heard me mention that 2026 is a Year of 10. Here’s what I mean by that, and why I find it useful – and kind of fun! – to examine the year this way, as we stand at its doorway, and as my annual “Year of” workshop happens tomorrow evening! This concept comes from numerology, a symbolic way of working with time that treats years as part of a repeating cycle or spiral, rather than a straight line. (Need more scroll holeshere? Kabbalah, kundalini, and astrology all have...

Hi, Reader — Quick check-in first: did you miss joining The Imprint? You can still hop in! If you’ve been meaning to choose a steadier rhythm for yourself this winter, consider this your reminder – you’re not late, you’re arriving when you’re ready. Now, for this week’s Lunar Magic: we’ll gather Wednesday evening at 19h00 EDT to practice together in alignment with the Sagittarius New Moon. The moon resets on the 19th, making this a supportive moment to pause and check in. → Join Lunar Magic...
