So, what’s the deal with this full moon eclipse?

Hi, Reader —

The cycle of the moon is waxing to its fullest this week! And it’s time for Lunar Magic ✨ full moon movement. Join me Wednesday evening at 19h00 as we prepare for this event in the sky… and take inspired action to be our best selves here on earth.

The moon enters grounding Virgo this week, accompanied by a total lunar eclipse, the first of a pair. While full moons are an invitation to release what’s been holding you back from your potential, lunar eclipses can often illuminate what has previously remained in the shadows. A potentially deeply transformative moment, the lunar eclipse is a time when you can discover what is hidden from view, and notice what rises from our unconscious into awareness, from our hearts to our heads. This upcoming eclipse can bring unexpected and powerful opportunities for change.

What needs to reveal itself to you, during this eclipse season?

Let these insights in, during this 90 minute class, where we’ll move and breathe — you’ll want to roll out your yoga mat. Our moon practice will guide you toward what must be released as the moon is in Virgo, including perfectionism and over-analysis, anxiety and control, and the fears that keep us playing small. The full moon supports releasing these neurotic preoccupations, helping us all bend toward Virgo’s Goddess energy.

This lunar eclipse will take begin just after midnight on Thursday evening/Friday morning, and the sun’s refractions will turn the moon blood red. We meet on Zoom this Wednesday, 12 March, so you can mentally and physically prepare — and then stay up late the next day, if you wish, for the main attraction above.

At this time in the seasonal wheel, when new life is sprouting from the earth and the promise of spring is in the air, what do you need to let go of in order to emerge as your best self? What needs to come to an end in order for you to bounce into spring’s creation energy?

I am looking forward to our full moon practice Wednesday night at 19h00!

See you soon,
Sara

Hi, Reader — Welcome to Aries season! Doesn’t it seem like every season there is some end and beginning of a cycle to mark? In summer, the first crescent moon in the first month of the Islamic calendar marks the start of the new year. September brings Jewish new year and the academic cycle begins. In January, our culturally shared Gregorian calendar has us creating resolutions, and the Lunar New Year is celebrated in many eastern cultures. And in spring, with this week’s new moon, it’s the...

Hey there, Reader — As you might know, the equinox is coming up later this week, on Thursday. On the equinox, the sun appears directly above the equator, seeming to rise directly east, and set directly west. Today, though — today is the “Equilux” — where day and night are actually equal in length, 12h each. (sounds so fancy, doesn’t it?) Wouldn’t it be nice if life could be so balanced? Rationally, we know that life will always take its ups and downs. What’s important is having strategies for...

Hi, Reader — This is your reminder that The Imprint starts tomorrow, and it’s your last chance to join all 5 days live! This is it — a spring seasonal awakening, a new year on the astrological calendar, and another chance to begin again. I’m just back from a week in Costa Rica, I arrived in Montreal to melted snow, and today some rain — I’m missing the ever present sunshine from my trip, but I know it’s on its way to Montreal again soon. And with the increase in daylight, the warmer...
